Brian James Oren

Brian James Oren age 46 of Crosby died on April 18, 2018 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  He was born on May 2, 1971 in Crosby.  Brain married Sally Ann Gehrke on October 11, 2014 in Crosby. He was employed as an electrician with Holden Electric in Brainerd.   Brian was a Army National Guard veteran.   A member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby; IBEW Local #242, Duluth; and the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton.

Brian is survived by his wife, Sally; his father, Jim Oren of Crosby and his mother, Debra Hamilton of Ironton; two sons, Warren Barry Jr. of Faribault and Johnathan Hodges of Crosby;four daughters, Mariah Oren, Madeline Oren, Isabella Oren and Veronica (Dylan) Barry all of Crosby; two sisters, Tracy Lopez of Apple Valley and Tammy (Jim) Oren of Brainerd; and one grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby with full military honors by the Myrin-James American Legion Post.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service all at Immanuel Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. koopfuneralhome.com
