Geraldine M. “Gerry” Klopfleisch age 79 of Ironton died on October 2, 2017 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  She was born on April 29, 1938 in LeRoy to William and Agnes (Sorenson) Moe.  Gerry married Robert Klopfleisch in Crosby on June 12, 1960.  She was a graduate from the Crosby-Ironton High School.  Her past employment includes the Ironton Post Office along with other local post offices and secretary for the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Gerry retired from the Holmen, WI Post Office.  She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.

Gerry is survived by two sons, Bruce (Katie) Klopfleisch of Inver Grove Heights and John Klopfleisch of Ironton; one daughter, Pam Klopfleisch of Ironton; four grandchildren, Jessica, Cassie, Jessica and Christopher; one brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Moe of Crosby; three sisters, Ruby Nelson of Crosby, Glennis Maruskie of Battleview, ND and Betty (Thomas) Swensen of Emily.

Preceding Gerry in death are her parents; her husband, Robert; two brothers, Clarence and Robert Moe; one nephew, Eric Moe and one great nephew, Trevor Johnson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.
