Leroy James Erion age 76 of Cuyuna died on August 19, 2017 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  He was born in White Earth, MN to Willis and Inez (Pemberton) Erion.  Leroy married Kathleen Kolodjski Cardinal on September 10, 1980 in Minneapolis.  He was an area contractor for building and remodeling homes. He is an enrolled member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe.

Leroy is survived by his wife Kathleen; four sons, Jamie (Shelley) Erion of Minneapolis, Brian Erion and Bradley Erion both of Ironton and Fredrick (Arlyn) Cardinal of Isanti; one daughter,

Mary Cardinal of Mounds View; two sisters, Suzanne Erion Hedman of and Donise Negron both of LaPorte; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Preceding Leroy in death are his parents; one brother, Norman Erion and two sisters, Sarah Kivo and Arlene Dearing.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Friday.
