Message from Kelly Morley

Dear Ron and family,

I don't know if you would remember me or not, but I can honestly say I will never forget your family. I was called to serve in the Minnesota Mission many years ago. My very first area was Brainerd. I still can remember the very first time I met Linda. I was with Elder Eastwood and we drove out to your house late at night. I will always cherish the love and friendship she and your family had for us. The many times we were invited to your home for dinner. After a month there I had a new companion Elder Gambles and I had to bring him out as well to met your family. The same warm welcome you showed me you showed to him and it is truly an example of how warm and loving a family can be.

I can honestly say that when the time came for me to be transferred to another area it was much harder to leave that area and your family than it was to leave my own. I still can remember the time when I was serving in Anoka and I was hospitalized with my appendix and Linda reached out and called me on the phone to see how I was doing! It was the little things that she did that I truly love and admired about her.

I hope and pray for you all. You are truly a great family that not only followed Christ's example but also lived it. I would love to someday come back there and see the entire family. Thank you again for everything you did for me as a young missionary.

My heart is heavy today. We in the 52 years we were friends had children same ages. We buried grandchild and one of her own little boys at age 2. We talked by phone a lot! I loved her like a sister I never had. She was a good wife, mother, sister, and friend she will be missed by many! I will never forget you! RIP till we meet at the Golden Gates! Love you my friend! Thank you for all our memories.
