Ray Levain Houge age 87 of Little Falls formerly of Crosby died on September 13, 2017 at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls. Ray was born in St. Paul on January 13, 1930 to Oscar and Nina (Sveum) Houge. He was a US Army Korean War veteran. He worked construction with Jesco Construction in Bloomington with 10 years of service and then was employed by the City of Crosby with 14 years of service.
Ray is survived by 2 daughters, Roxanne (Greg) Thomas and Dee-Dee (Steve) Johnson; grandchildren, Tony (Tracy) and Rick (Anne) Thomas, Joe Johnson, and Jill Quinn; seven great grandchildren, two step sons, Mike (Jan) Roach and Jerry (Diane) Roach; eleven step grandchildren and one sister, Doris Gill; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Ray in death are his parents; his wife Betty; grandson, Stevie Johnson and seven siblings.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with full military honors given by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443.
