Alvin Goplen Obituary

Alvin P. “Al” Goplen age 68 of Crosby died on October 22, 2018 at Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin. He was born on August 14, 1950 in Milaca to Alvin and Virginia (Maxner) Goplen. He was employed with his family’s Goplen Trailor Park and Camp Ground on the South Shores of Lake Mille Lacs. Al enjoyed spending time in the company of his friends.

Al is survived by one son, Joseph (Sara) Marchel of Plymouth and one sister, Meredith (Robert) O’Brien.

Preceding Al in death are his parents and one brother, Dennis Goplen.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial was at the Foster Cemetery in Onamia.
