Betty (Bech) Asmus age 88 of Brainerd formerly of White Bear Lake went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 10, 2017.  Precious wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Preceded in death by her Mother, Ruth Bech; Father, Richard Bech; Step-Mother, Maurine Bech; Daughter, Teri Asmus-Schultz; Son, Shawn Asmus; Brothers, Richard Bech and Thomas Bech.

Survived by Husband of 68 years, Raymond Asmus; Daughters, Susan (Jeff) Schadt, Kelle Asmus, Shannon Klammer; Grandchildren, Christopher Spade, Jaime (Jeremiah) Donald, Matthew (Erica) Spade, Meghan Schadt, Michaela Schadt, Emily (Ernesto Guzman) Asmus, Nicole (Joe) Vacek, Amber (Keith Fredrickson) Asmus, Jennifer (Will) Holte, David (Erica) Klammer, Daniel (Taber Hanna) Klammer; 24 great grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Cindy Bech and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was a graduate of Central High School in St. Paul.  She was a former 3M employee and 23 year employee of Northeast Metro 916 White Bear Lake.  Betty was a warrior for Christ and shared His love with many, many people.

Funeral services will be 1:30 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.  Private family entombment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
