Delena “Deanie” Mazar, age 93 of Crosby formerly of Cuyuna died on November 1, 2019 at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby. She was born on October 10, 1926 in Crosby to William and Mabel (Bellefuille) Harrison. Deanie married Louis Mazar on September 26, 1948 in Crosby. She was former J.C. Penney employee working in Crosby and was treasurer for the City of Cuyuna for 40+ years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Deanie enjoyed knitting, pie making, bird watching and the Minnesota Twins.

Deanie is survived by her husband, Louis; one son, Brent (Kristen) Mazar of Merrifield; one daughter, Susan (Scott) Henderson of South Pasadena, FL; one brother, Dan (Bernita) Harrison of Crosby and nieces and nephews.

Preceding Deanie in death are her parents; two brothers, Clint and Cleve Harrison and a sister,

Alice Albie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
