Dorothy Drahosh Obituary

Dorothy C. Drahosh, 91, Deerwood, formerly of Willow River, MN, died Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Crosby Care Center, Crosby.  She was born on July 5, 1926 to Jesse and Freida Fenstermaker.  Dorothy grew up west of Willow River where she attended school.  On October 24, 1942, Dorothy married Joseph Drahosh in Hopkins, MN.  They dairy farmed west of Willow River.  In 1965, they moved to Anchorage, Alaska where Dorothy loved working as a manager at a greenhouse.  In 1977, they retired and moved back to Willow River where they lived until moving to Deerwood in 1987.  She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, flowers, and just being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her parents; sister: Ethel; and brother: Kenny.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Gerald (Donna) Drahosh of Oregon, City, OR and Gary Drahosh of Deerwood; grandchildren: Dawn (Jennifer) Master of Staples; Terry Drahosh of Deerwood; and Brian (Ashley) Drahosh of Medford, OR; 3 great grandchildren; and a very special friend: Becky Cain of Anchorage, AK.

Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday, March 2, 2018 in Koop Funeral Home, Crosby and continue Monday, March 5, 2018 from 10 am until the 11 am funeral at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.  Spring Burial will be in Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Birch Creek Twp., Pine County.  To sign the guestbook online, go to www.hhkfuneralhome.com.
