Gareth Albin Stark age 71 of Los Angeles, CA passed away April 6, 2017 after a long illness.  Gary was born on August 5, 1945 in Crosby to Albin and Ann (Peterson) Stark.  He graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School and then attend Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for four years.  Afterward, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for two years.

Previously working at Carney Middleton Ford, Inc. as a teenager, Gary continued with Ford Motor Company until retiring in 1997.  He had been promoted and moved to Los Angeles in 1972.  He was very active in the Hollywood Community that he loved.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karen Stark; brothers, Keith and Kerry Stark; brother-in-law, David Mount and nephews, David and Jonathon Mount.

He is survived by his life partner, Joseph Litzinger; Siblings, Patty Stark, Sheryl Mount, Ann (Greg) Majerle, Paul(Janie) Stark, Phillip (Erlana) Stark; sister-in-law, Becky Stark and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Gary will be missed by all of his family and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby
