Arthur “Jack” Landberg, age 86 of Delano formerly Crosby died on September 28, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society in Howard Lake. He was born in Minneapolis on April 6, 1933 to Richard and Agnes (Willette) Landberg. Jack married Marilyn Olsen in 1952. He attended St. Charles Boremo and De la Salle High School. He then attended St. Thomas University, the University of Minnesota, and Dunwoody Institute, becoming an electrician. Eventually Jack became an electrical contractor. He bought Cramer Electric in 1986. He sold his business and moved to Clearwater Lake. Jack and his son Rick started Landberg Builders in the lakes area.
Jack was active the Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club, National Electrical Contractors Association and a past president of NECA Minneapolis Chapter, Kiwanis and Uptown Business Association. He also worked with North Country Real Estate in Crosby.
Jack is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Robert (Diane) Landberg of Birchwood Village and Krister Willette of Minneapolis; two daughters, Jodell (Greg) Gustafson of Independence and Andrea (Barry) Anderson of Excelsior; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Preceding Jack in death are his parents; 3 sons, Rick, John and Mike Landberg; 3 sisters, Renee Nadeau, Marguerite Mickulich and Gerry Grandfield.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery in Bay Lake Township. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
