Joan T. Wiggs

Joan T. Wiggs age 76 of Cambridge formerly of Emily died on April 10, 2019 at Grace Pointe Crossing Gables West in Cambridge.  She was born on November 7, 1942 in Lansing, IA to Clarence and Edna (Moore) VanBrocklin. Joan was a retired Real Estate Agent and Broker with Lake Country Properties.  She was a member of St. Emily’s Catholic Church and the Emily-Outing-Fifty Lakes Lions Club.

Joan is survived by three daughters, Sara (Joshua) Lindsey of Oak Grove, Dina (Derek Wellington) Wiggs of Apple Valley and LeaAnne (Daniel) Depies of Hudson, WI; two brothers, Clair (Linda) VanBrocklin of Show Low, AZ and Jerry (Debbie) VanBrocklin of East Bethel; three sisters, Jean (Paul) Storms of Carver, Mary (Roger) Axel of Minnetonka and Alice (Mike) Heinecke of Emily; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Preceding Joan in death are her parents; husband, Lane Wiggs; one son, Brian Towne and one brother Gordon VanBrocklin.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at St. Emily’s Catholic Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
