Lee J. Chambers age 69 of Remer died on November 4, 2018 at his home. He was born in Crosby on July 21, 1949 to Leo and Caroline (Padjen) Chambers.
Lee was employed with the Crow Wing Highway Department with 23 years of service. He was a U.S. Vietnam Army veteran. He was a member of the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton. Lee was an avid hunter and loved spending time with his family.
Lee is survived by his wife, Sharon; one daughter, Melisa (Shawn) Chambers of Duluth; two sons, Lee (Miranda) Chambers of Remer and Mike (Candice) Chambers; one brother, Tom Chambers of Remer; three sisters, Cathy (David) Wilber of Rocky Mount, NC, Carol (John) Novicki of St. Louis Park and Mary Robinson of Crosby; a special aunt, Kathryn “Kitty” Padjen of Ironton and nine grandchildren.
Preceding Lee in death are his parents and one sister, Joyce Elliot.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby with full military honors provided by the Myrin-James American Legion Post. A visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
