Linda Norine DeCent age 70 of Crosby died on March 14, 2017 at her home.  She was born on March 15, 1946 in Warsaw, Indiana to Russell and Bertha Shoemaker.  Linda married Ronnie DeCent on June 30, 1964 in Elkhart, Indiana.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ronnie; three sons, Wade (Lisa) DeCent, Aaron DeCent and Rusty (Louisa) DeCent all of Crosby; three daughters, Lisa (Ben) Mooers, Ronette (Bobby) Johnson and Julie (Harry) Higby all of Crosby; three sisters, Carol Jankowski of Lafayette, Indiana, Kaye DeCent of Bourbon, Indiana and Honey Hall of Atwood, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Preceding Linda in death are her parents; one Son, Joseph DeCent; two great grandchildren, Nephi DeCent and Dezarae Johnson; one brother, Harold Shoemaker and two sisters, Doris Holland and Maxine Duff.

Funeral services will be 11:30 am on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Aitkin.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of services at the church on Saturday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
