Marvin James Millam age 79 of Brainerd died on April 3, 2017 at his home.  He was born on November 8, 1937 in Milaca to Kenneth and Clara (Pautz) Millam.  Marv’s career was in transportation.  He ran his own business, M and L Trucking. He also drove for Nelson Trucking, Scorpion Snowmobile Corp., Radco, and Stewart Forest Products.

Marv is survived by his wife Lorri; daughters, Sheree Davis of St. Petersburg, FL, Cindy (Roger) Carlson of Brainerd, Mindy (Tim) Speldrich of Brainerd, Vindy (Darrell) Pulak of Baxter; Sons, Michael Millam of Williamsburg, VA, Jeff Millam of Brainerd, and Chad (Denise) Millam of Big Lake; Grandchildren, Justine North, Jacqui Millam, Kelsey and Josh Carlson, Parker, Mackenzie, Hailey, Dreeson Millam, Dylan and Makaio Speldrich, Mazi, Ziya and Azli Pulak; great grandchildren, Lucas Fuller and Hudson Millam; his siblings, Ralph Millam, Santa Fe, NM, June (Jerry) Delong of Princeton, Virginia (Tiny) Robinson of Foreston, Myrtle (Gary) Robinson of Milaca, Lester (Barb) Millam of Milaca, Betty (Shorty) Winterhalter of Pahrump, NV; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Marv in death are his parents and two sisters, Charlotte Anderson and Marilyn Haugen.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Baxter. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Maple Grove Township.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:30 until the time of services at the church.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
