Scott Allan Kile age 62 of Pillager passed away at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby on Thursday, May 10, 2018. He was born in Minneapolis to Allan and Dora Kile on July 21, 1955. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the mid 1970’s. He was an accomplished musician and singer, an avid bird watcher, and served on the Crosby-Ironton School Board. He was the popular DJ “Dr. Fever” on WJJY in Brainerd for many years, and a favorite concierge at Culvers.
Preceding Scott in death are his parents, Al and Dottie Kile; his 1st wife, Harrietta and one brother, Brian.
Scott is survived by his wife, Sue Putnam; his children, Roxie Sieler and Amber Kile; one sister, Colleen Haley; stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Cragun’s Resort, 11000 Craguns Drive in Brainerd on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
