Susan Gail Crawford

Susan Gail Crawford, aged 63 of Brainerd died on February 5, 2018 at her son’s home surrounded by her loving family. Susie was born October 24, 1954, in Crosby, MN, the daughter of William J. and Muriel M. (Cartie) Windorski.

Susie was known as a fantastic cook and green thumb by her friends and family. She loved flowers and plants of all kinds and took enjoyment in making her home and yard feel like a small greenhouse. She was an avid crocheter and embroider and loved making blankets for her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Susie is survived by her husband and love of her life, Robert L. Crawford; two sons, Brian and Bobby; three daughters, Patty, Mary, and Britteny; six sisters, Delores, Carol, Kathy, Lauri, Linda, and Patty; three brothers, Stevie, Charlie, and Jeff; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Karen; and three brothers, Michael, Phillip, and Donald.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Deerwood Auditorium on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
