Alan Edward Preisinger

June 21, 1941 — August 26, 2023

Alan Edward Preisinger, age 82 of Crosby died at his home on August 26, 2023.  He was born on June 21, 1941 in Crosby to Arthur and Lucille (Blackwood) Preisinger.  Alan was a U.S. Army veteran.  He is the retired owner of AP Construction.  Alan was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Crosby, the Gideon Aitkin Camp and worked with the jail ministry with Aitkin and Crow Wing County for 10 years.

Alan is survived by three sons, Clint (Aimee) Preisinger of Crosby, Clayton Preisinger of Little Falls, and Cal (Amber) Preisinger of Brainerd; two daughters, Andrea (David) Martin of Blackduck and Jody (Scott) Kretlow of Cottage Grove; one brother, Roger (Carol) Preisinger of Brainerd; one sister, Peggy (Roger) Velasco of Taylors Fall, WI; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Preceding Alan in death are his parents; two brothers, Thomas and Jim Preisinger and one sister, Alice Stowell.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Bible Baptist Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Irondale Township with military honors presented by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
