Albert L. Rono age 76 of Perry Lake Township died on August 27, 2014 at his home. He was born on July 2, 1938 in Perry Lake Township to Oscar and Hilda (Randall) Rono Sr.. He married Sharon Dye on September 17, 1966 in Brainerd.
Survivors include 3 daughter, Rachel (Mike) Ewing of Portland, Oregon, Laurie (Gary) Tereau of Aitkin, and JoAnn (Robert) Arend of Motley; 2 brothers, Harold Rono and Lester Rono both of Crosby; 4 sisters, Caroline (Danny) Warren of Tuscan, AZ, Alice Simmonds of Crosby, Nancy (Roberto) Perez of St. Paul and Linda (Robert) Saltzman of Ponca, Nebraska; 1 grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Sharon; and five brothers, Oscar Jr. "Babe", David, Larry, Roger and Tony Rono.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
