Alfred Henry Isle

Alfred Henry Isle age 89 of Deerwood died at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby on June 22, 2014. He was born on November 18, 1924 in Brainerd to Charles and Mabel (Lasher) Isle Jr. He married Mary Elizabeth Peterson on June 5, 1945 in Aitkin. Alfred was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran and was a member of the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post #557 of Deerwood.
Survivors include 1 son, Brian (Wendy) Isle of Isanti; 2 daughters, Rae (Howard) Jones of Minneapolis and Tracy (Dieter) Bauer of Edina; eight grandchildren and elven great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife Mary in 1998; 1 daughter, Karen Sipper; 1 brother, Charles "Ike" Isle and 1 sister, Madonna Lewis of Aitkin.
Funeral services will be 11 am on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
