Alice Floy Hite

Alice Floy Hite, age 102 of Crosby, formerly of Emily, passed away at the Heartwood Care Center in Crosby on October 22, 2026. She was born on August 18, 1924 in Cuyuna to John and Pearl (Sanderson) Johnson.

Alice was a member of the Emily United Methodist Church. In her younger years, Alice was employed with the Emily School working as a cook and playground aid. She had a love for quilting, wood crafting, painting, gardening and baking. She believed she lived to be 102 because she loved burnt toast and black coffee.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Doreen (Carl) Larson of Crosby; eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Preceding Alice in death are her parents; her son Gary; grandson Jesse Larson; two brothers, Robert and David Johnson.

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
