Allan Canterbury Templeton

Allan C. Templeton Jr. age 88 of Emily died on May 31, 2017 at his home. He was born on April 16, 1929 in Minneapolis to Allan and Charlotte (Carlson) Templeton Sr. He was a WWII U.S. Marine Corp veteran. Allan married Marilyn Tveraa on December 9, 1947 in Minneapolis. He was retired from the Minneapolis Water Department with 30 years of service. He was a longtime member of the Emily Greens Golf Course.
Allan is survived by his wife Marilyn; two sons, Allan (Denise) Templeton of Saginaw, MI and Terrance (Sharolyn) Templeton of Dafter, MI; one daughter, Wendy (Mark) Dray of Ham Lake; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Preceding Allan in death are his parents and one sister, Deyonne Gonzalez.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby with full military honors presented by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443 of Ironton. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
