Alyce C. Haesecke age 89 of Crosby died at Aitkin Health Services on January 30, 2011. She was born on June 17, 1921 in Crosby to August and Katie (Wisala) Maattala. She is a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Crosby and the Myrin-James American Legion Aux., Ironton. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Walter in 1987, 3 brothers, John, William and David Maattala; 4 sisters, Mary Peterson, Eva Harrison, Sally Ferrari, and Lyla Wernecke. Funeral services will be 1 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2001 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call on Thursday 1 hour prior to the services.
