Angeline "Angie" Miller

August 19, 1933 — January 1, 2025

Angeline “Angie” Miller, age 91 of Deerwood passed away on January 1, 2025 at her home.  She was born in Ironton on August 19, 1933 to Jack and Anna (Perpich) Chopp.  She graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1951.  Angie was united in marriage with Charles “Bill” Miller on July 25, 1953 in Crosby.  She retired from Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge with 20 years of service as head housekeeper.

Angie is survived by her husband, Charles “Bill”; her daughters, Marsha (David Minkel) Miller of Pagosa Springs, CO and Kay MacDonald of Seattle, WA; and one grandchild, Meredith MacDonald of Seattle, WA.

Angie loved feeding her birds and squirrels and watching Minnesota wildlife. She was devoted to keeping track of the weather from day to day and year to year recording the changes. Her cheerful, funny and optimistic spirit will be greatly missed by those who love her.

Preceding Angie in death are an infant son, her parents, two brothers, two sisters and her grandson.

Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby at a later date.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
