Ann Jones

Ann Jones, age 93 of Aitkin died on November 10, 2011 at the Aicota Nursing Home in Aitkin. She was born on March 15, 1918 in Ulen, MN to Henry and Lena (Wiger) Hasskamp. Ann married Noel Logan Jones in Webster, South Dakota on December 24, 1940. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Cedarbrook and WELCA of St. John's. She was also a member of the Half Century Club of the Minnesota Newspaper Association. Survivors include 2 sons, Dale (Linda) Jones of Coon Rapids, and David (Meg) Jones of Alexandria; 2 daughters, Arlene Morgan of Braham and Linda (Roxy) Bracewell of Applevalley; Daughter-in-law, Judie Jones of Aitkin; 1 brother, Lyndon Hasskamp of Aitkin; 1 sister, Jo (Jack) Anderson of Crosby; sister-in-law, Gerry Hasskamp of Klamath Falls, OR; thirteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Noel in 1983, 1 son, Noel "Buzz" in 1996, 4 brothers, Herb, George "Dutch", Gordon, and H. James Hasskamp; 2 sisters, Dorothy Lange, and Mabel Offt; son-in-law, Richard Morgan. Funeral services will be 2 pm on Sunday, November 13th at St. John's Lutheran Church of Cedarbrook. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
