Ann A Smith

Ann A Smith, 89, died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023.

She was born on April 2nd, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa to L Dale & Doris Ahern. Ann married Bruce K Smith on December 26th, 1953, in Decorah, Iowa.  She was an active Mother of 3 and was involved in, Westwood Lutheran Church, Elliot Elementary school, Blue Birds, and many other local organizations.

Ann was a Business Manager of 18 yrs. at Methodist Hospital in St Louis Park, MN. She and her husband Bruce retired to their dream home on Rabbit Lake in Crosby, MN in 1991.

Ann is survived by her daughter Kristi L Scouton, son Jeffrey B Smith (Lynda), daughter Julie Bible (Robert) and grandchildren, Bruce Bible, Justin Smith (Erin), Brandon Bible, Kasie Scouton, Dallas Snyder (Chad), Amanda Jacobson (Jesse), Travis Smith (Ashleigh), Jelsi Bible, 10 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, sister, granddaughter & son-in-law.

Ann had many interests which include her passion for drawing house plans, floral arrangement, antiquing, home decor and listening to music.

The family will join in the celebration of Ann's life. This will be held in Chariton, Iowa at Grimes Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Koop Funeral Home, Crosby.
