Barbara Yvonne Habighorst

Barbara Yvonne Habighorst age 56 of Crosby died on June 3, 2017 at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. She was born on December 31, 1960 in Brainerd to Richard and Yvonne (Nichols) Root. Barb married LeRoy Habighorst on May 29, 1992 in Cedarbrook. She was employed as a teller with Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union with 20 years of service. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby and was a local Scentsy Consultant.
Barb is survived by her husband, LeRoy; her parents, Richard and Yvonne Root of Brainerd; three sons, Cory Habighorst of Pequot Lakes, Dan Viehauser of Crosby, David Viehauser of St. Paul Park; one daughter, Melissa Sanvig of Baxter; two sisters, Bonnie Leikvoll of Garrison, Beverly “Bear” (Gordy) Grover of Menomonie, WI and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Cedarbrook. Visitation will be on Thursday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 4 to 7 pm and on Friday one hour prior to services at the church.
