Barbara Jane Kirby- Maattala

Barbara Jane Kirby-Maattala age 80 of Crosby died at her home on August 17, 2014. She was born on January 6, 1934 in Duluth to John and Elizabeth (Kurkinen) Maattala. She married Robert Kirby in Miami, FL on June 28, 1956.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert; a son, Jeffre Kirby of Deerwood and three grandchildren, Patrick, LeAnne and Brenden Kirby.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 3 pm on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, 1 hour prior to the 3 pm service at the church.
