Barry A. Birkholz age 51 of Emily former of Winsted/Lester Prairie area, died on November 10, 2014 at his home. He was born on February 12, 1963 in Glencoe to Arvin and Janelle (Perbix) Birkholz. Barry graduated from the Lester Prairie High School, Class of 1981. He was a carpenter for H.A. Birkholz Construction in Lester Prairie and Tutch Construction in Emily.
Barry is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jo; his mother, Janelle Birkholz of Winsted; 1 sister, Tara Fay (Bruce) Schneewind of Lester Prairie and his canine companion, Molly.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services on Saturday.
