Bernard Franklin "Ben" Martin age 90 of Emily died on May 14, 2016 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. He was born on November 28, 1925 in Emily to Isaiah F. and Maude (Lambert) Martin.
Ben is survived by three sons, Mike (Jan) Martin of Denver, CO, Frank (Michele) Martin of Emily and Tom (Sandy) Martin of Crosby; one daughter, Patty (Wayne) Mileski of St. Michael; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Preceding Ben in death are his parents; his wife, Dorothy "Zorka"; two brothers, Jack and Joe Martin and two sisters, Cleo Stirewalt and Beth Thoms.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Wesleyan Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. Memorials are preferred to the Hilltop Chapel in Palisade in lieu of flowers.
