Betty Jean Laborde

Betty Jean LaBorde age 90 of Crosby died on March 25, 2019 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on December 4, 1928 in Crosby to Louis and Vera (Gordon) Moritz.

Betty is survived by two sons, Daniel (Jean) LaBorde of Anoka and Patrick (Susan) LaBorde of Crosby; two daughters, Loretta (Kerry) Esler of Grand Rapids and Darlene (Mike) Hendrickson of Ironton; two brothers, Ray (Janice) Moritz and Gene(Marilyn) Moritz all of Crosby; one sister, Marjorie Wheeler of Merrifield; Brother-in-law, Tony Stockard of Emily; fifteen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.

Preceding Betty in death are her parents; her husband, Clifford; one daughter, Kathy Stockard; three grandsons, Luke Stockard, Curtis LaBorde and Patrick LaBorde.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Emily City Hall.  Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
