Betty Elaine Stirewalt

Betty E. Stirewalt, age 82 of Deerwood died on August 24, 2019 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on December 4, 1936 in Crosby to Chester and Alice (Duzan) Christensen.

Betty is survived by two sons, Daniel (Leilani) Stirewalt of Crosby and Jerry (Uli) Stirewalt of Brainerd; three daughters, Debra (Mark) Soderman of Cottage Grove, Diane (Ken) Billick of Green Bay, WI, Rhonda (Wayne) Fuller of Wanatah, IN; four brothers, Ronald (Mary Lee) Christensen, Douglas (Judy) Christensen, John (Sharon) Christensen all of Deerwood; Dave Christensen of New Iberia, LA; three sisters, Dee (Lester) Chileen, Lois Bayliss all of Crosby; Pauline (Roger) Johnson of Sartell; 21 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Preceding Betty in death are her parents; her husband, Clarence “Jim”; two sons, Steven and Sammy Stirewalt; grandson, Christopher Stirewalt;  granddaughter, Rebecca Stirewalt; two brothers, Harvey and Bill Christensen and one sister, Linda Christen.

A Memorial Gathering will be on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the

Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
