Beverly J. Young

Beverly J. Young, age 87 of Brainerd, formerly of Young Lake in Merrifield died on January 1, 2020 at the Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.  She was born on January 11, 1932 in Aitkin to Clive and Ina (Marsh) Travis.  Bev married James Young on March 1, 1953 in Crosby.

Bev is survived by one son, Jeffrey (Lisa) Young of Merrifield; two daughters, Susan (David) Meyer of Maple Grove and Teri Brown of Sebeka; three sisters, Marge, Eleanor and Patricia; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Preceding Bev in death are her parents; her husband, Jim; one daughter, Linda Young; one sister, Helen and one brother, Milton.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Bethany Good Samaritan Home in Brainerd.  Burial will be at the Mission Township Cemetery.  A visitation will be on Monday one hour prior to the service at the Bethany Good Samaritan Chapel.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
