Billie Jo Fletcher age 67 of Emily died on February 14, 2012 at her daughters home in Pequot Lakes. She was born on May 9, 1944 in Gadsden, Alabama to Jesse and Lucille (Ekes) Powell. She married Leonard Ross Fletcher on August 6, 1983 in Emily. Survivors include 2 daughters, Vickie (Richard) Vasquez of Pequot Lakes, JoAnn (Kenneth) Barton Of Brainerd; 4 brothers, William (Shirley) Powell, Ricky Powell, Roger Powell and Ronnie Powell; 4 sisters, Sylvia Morgan, Betty Davis, Jessie (Donald) Smith and Phyllis Hartzog; seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Leonard, 1 son David Wardle, step son Bruce Fletcher; 2 brothers, Robert Powell and Robert Pendergraph. Funeral services will be on 11 am on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Hilltop Chapel in Palisade (49448 Osprey Avenue, Palisade). Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
