Bonnie Jo Morison

April 23, 1941 — April 11, 2025

Bonnie Jo Morison, age 83, of Princeton, formerly of Irondale Township, died on April 11, 2025.

She was born in Brainerd on April 23, 1941, to Ronald and Mildred (Lehrke) Lord.  Bonnie was united in marriage to Nolan Delano Morison on April 8, 1961, in Ironton.

After high school, she studied key punching in Minneapolis.  Early in her career, she worked at Univac and Pioneer United Telephone Company.  She retired in 2005 from the Crow Wing County Solid Waste Division where she worked for over 20 years. She was an inaugural member of the Crosby-Ironton Presbyterian Church. Bonnie loved homemaking, gardening, baking, and spending time with her granddaughter. Cherished highlights of her life include a trip to England and Scotland in the early 1960s and a trip to Aruba in 2023.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Rhonda J. Magnussen, of Zimmerman; her son, Scott R. Morison, of Zimmerman; her granddaughter, Amber E. Magnussen, of Minneapolis, and her sister, Rachel J. Lord, of Maple Grove.

Preceding Bonnie in death are her parents; her husband, Nolan, in 2021; and her sister, Carole J. (Lord) Sewall.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.
