Bonnie Jane Sax age 74 of Garrison died at the St. Cloud Hospital on December 25, 2015. She was born on April 25, 1941 in Ellendale, MN to Charles and Oriet (Demmer) Ribbe. Bonnie married Robert Sax on October 4, 1973 in Minneapolis. She was formerly from Coon Rapids, retiring to Garrison in 1998. She was a former Carlson Company Employee. Bonnie was a member of Light of the Cross Lutheran Church in Garrison.
Survivors include her husband Bob; 2 sons Robert Sax of Houston, TX and Greg (Krissy) Sax of Ham Lake; 2 daughters, Teresa (Mike) Benson of Blaine and Chris (Terry) DeRunges of Blaine; 3 brothers, Mike (CeCe) Ribbe of Houston, TX, Barry Ribbe of Dallas, TX and Mark (Rose) Ribbe of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Bonnie in death are her parents and 1 sister, Jolene Ribbe.
Funeral services will be 1 pm on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Light of the Cross Lutheran Church in Garrison. Burial will be at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in LeMond Township, MN. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
