Brian Donald Jarvela

Brian D. Jarvela, age 59 of Crosby died on February 22, 2021 at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.  He was born on June 28, 1961 in Crosby to Donald and Louise (Sharp) Jarvela.

Brian was a former Clow Stamping Employee with 30 years of service.

Brian is survived by his fiancé, Tammy DeCent; one son, Doug (Susan) Jarvela of Baxter; one daughter, Trista Jarvela of St. Cloud; four step sons, Jerry (Jill) DeCent of Ironton, Christopher (Ashley) DeCent of Crosby, Joey DeCent of Crosby and Kyler (Meredith) DeCent of Deerwood; two step daughters, Ashley DeCent of Brainerd and Breauna DeCent of Crosby; two brothers, Greg (Kay) Jarvela and Bruce (JoAnne) Jarvela all of Crosby; two sisters, Diane (Gene) Francis of Merrifield and Kris Shattuck of Crosby; and twenty grandchildren.

Preceding Brian is death are his parents, Donald and Louise Jarvela

A private service will be held Sunday.
