Calvin Lawrence Norby

Calvin L. Norby, age 80 of Riverton died on August 22, 2019 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on September 6, 1938 in Quiring Township, MN to Clarence and Nina (Caldwell) Norby.  Cal married Karen Mayotte on September 6, 1980 in Minneapolis. He was a retired machinist for Parker Hannifin.  Cal was an avid sportsman.

Cal is survived by his wife Karen; two sons, Brian (Tyra) Berg of Ironton and Rodney (Danielle) Berg of Merrifield; two sisters, Carol (John) Boyt and Lorraine Pfouts all of Anchorage, AK; six grandchildren, Marcus (Jessica) Berg, Madison Berg, Miranda Berg, Jacob Berg, Kayla Berg, Kai Berg; one great grandson, Kayden Calvin Berg.

Preceding Cal in death are his parents; one son, Michael Patrick Berg and one brother, Jerry Sloan.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 with a Sharing of Memories at 3:30 p.m.
