Cathy Ellen Gillette

Cathy E. Gillette age 63 of Baxter died on December 24, 2018 at her home.  She was born on February 6, 1955 in Crosby to Matthew and Gertrude (Maki) Benson. She graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1973 and from St. Cloud School of Nursing, class of 1976. Cathy married Kenneth Gillette on October 10, 1980 in Crosby. She was a retired Register Nurse at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center with over 30 years of service.

Cathy is survived by one son, Ken (Kristy) Gillette III of Spring Valley, WI; two daughters, Heather (Tom) Gangi of Vienna, Virginia and Jennifer Gillette of Baxter; two brothers, Benny (Joanne) Benson of Shoreview and Bob (Ruth) Benson of Williston, N.D.; one sister, Ilona (Ron) Rooney of Emily and three grandchildren.

Preceding Cathy in death are her parents, her husband Kenneth; and two brothers, Carl and Eddie Benson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Nokay Lake Township.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
