Charles Eugene Fairbanks Jr

Charles Eugene "Chuck" Fairbanks Jr. age 78 of Outing died on September 7, 2012 at his home. He was born on January 26, 1934 in Minneapolis to Charles and Eleanor (Dokken) Fairbanks Sr. He married Jeannette Carol Berry on April 16, 1955 in Outing. Chuck was a Korean War Navy Veteran. He was retired owner of C.E. Fairbanks Excavating. He was a member of Narrows Community Church in Outing. A past Commander of the Emily Legion Club, retired charter member of the Crooked Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Former Crooked Lake Town Board Supervisor, Former Cass County Snow Patrolman, and a member of the Local 49ers Union. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jeannette; 4 sons, Leonard (Jill) Fairbanks of Outing, Douglas Fairbanks of Shakopee, Daniel Fairbanks of Outing and Richard (Brenda) Fairbanks, Merrifield. Funeral services will be 1 pm on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Narrow's Community Church in Outing. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
