Charlotte "Char" Sunde

Charlotte "Char" M. Sunde age 80 of Crosby died on July 28, 2014 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. She was born on March 27, 1934 in New Richland, MN to Edward and Marian (Swenson) Lange. Char was a retired registered nurse, serving the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and Miners Hospital for 44 years. She was an active RSVP member and a member and parish nurse at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.
Char is survived by 3 daughters, Susan (Brad) Iverson of Sartell, Barbara (Dean) Balster of Brainerd and Marianne (Robert) McLaughlin of Cuyuna; 5 grandchildren, Nicole (Ryan) Goehring of Herried, SD; Ashley (Steve) Tilbury of Cuyuna, Joseph McLaughlin of Tyler, TX; Alex Balster and Sophie Balster both of Brainerd; 4 great grandchildren, Molly and Madison Goehring and Dane and Harper Tilbury; and 1 sister, Karen Thorpe of San Jose, CA.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband William in 2011.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby and 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
