Christopher Paul Smith

Christopher Paul “Chris” Smith, age 57 of Outing passed away on November 25, 2024 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 21, 1967 to Ricky and Janet (Riggins) Smith.  Chris was the owner and operator of the Crooked Lakes Boat Works in Outing.  He was a retired fire fighter for the Outing Fire Department with 38 years of service.

Chris is survived by his son, Taylor Carstens of Outing; his daughters, Abbigail Smith of Outing and Dakota Carstens of Brainerd; his mother, Janet Smith of Outing; his brother, Timothy (Lisa) Smith of Rogers and his sister, Michelle (Joe) Switzer of Cromwell; and two grandchildren.

Preceding Chris in death is his father, Ricky Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m. at the Outing Fire Hall.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
