Clifford Allen Rono

Clifford Rono, age 68 of Crosby, passed away at his home on December 25, 2025. He was born on August 26, 1957 in Crosby to Adolph and Pearl (Booth) Rono. Cliff was a life-long resident of the Crosby community. He graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School.

A dedicated professional, Clifford spent over 40 years behind the wheel as a truck driver, navigating countless miles. When he wasn’t on the road, he found peace in the simple pleasures of life, particularly gardening and fishing.

Clifford is survived by his devoted partner of 34 years, Virginia Borg; his children, Evan Tougas Rono and Faith Rono; his brother, Adolph (Kathy Jo) Rono, and his sisters, Sharon Bellefeuille, Dolores Boyd, Joan Martin, Jane Rono and Janice Rono; his step children, Barb (Charlie) Cogger, Troy (Lori) Borg, Jerry (Cindy) Borg and April Borg and four grandchildren.

Preceding Clifford in death are his parents and his brother, Arnold Rono.

A private ceremony will be held at Lakewood Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
