Daniel Thomas Christensen

Daniel Thomas Christensen, age 65, of Winthrop died on August 30, 2021 at the VA Heath Care  System in St. Cloud.  He was born on February 2, 1956 in Crosby to Joseph and Marlys (Thoms) Christensen.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving 2 years stationed in Hawaii.  Dan was known to have a love for his dogs and enjoyed spending hours each day playing cards and cribbage with his close friend Robert.

Dan is survived by one brother, Gregory (Denise) Christensen of Kingsford, MI; two sisters,

Joy Christensen of Ironton and Jane (Joe Church) Weber of Florence, WI and nieces and nephews.

Preceding Dan in death are his parents and one brother, Timothy Christensen.

A Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Bay Lake Township Cemetery with full military honors given by the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post #557 of Deerwood.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
