Daniel Jerry age 74 of Beloit, WI formerly of Aitkin died at his daughter's home on February 5, 2016. He was born on August 13, 1941 in Wealthwood Township, MN to Eli and Marjorie (Edwards) Jerry. He was a member of the National Guard and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. Daniel retired in 1999 from the City of Beloit with 31 years of service. Daniel is survived by three daughters, LaDonna Pfaff of Baraboo, WI, Sherry (Michael) Willis of Bloomington, IL, and Marjorie (Ernest Turner) Jerry of Beloit, WI; one brother, Francis (Carol) Jerry of Norfolk, VA; two sisters, Ellen Gruhlke, of Aitkin and Marlene Mattson of Crosby; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Also surviving are Joyce's family, who Daniel treated as his own: daughter, Arlene (Dale) Weistroffer, Palisade; sons, Raymond Burgstaler, Crosby; James (Aurora) Burgstaler, Brainerd; Todd Burgstaler and Brent (Tena) Burgstaler, all of Aitkin; brothers, Wayne (Alice) Huff and David (Mary) Huff all of Duncanville, Texas; and Gordon (Judy) Huff of Emily; sisters, Sharon (Ron) Process of Sagola, Mich.; and Martie (Tom) Hansen of Emily; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Preceding Daniel in death are his parents; his wife, Joyce; son, Michael; two sisters, Mary Fenstermaker and Jeanette Wilson; and two brothers, William Jerry and John Jerry.
Funeral services will be 11: 00 am on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) or the Beloit Regional Hospice. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
