Darlene Mae Hasskamp

August 15, 1940 — January 27, 2022

Darlene Mae Hasskamp, age 81 of Aitkin died on January 27, 2022 at Golden Horizons in Aitkin.  She was born on August 15, 1940 in Faribault to Edward and Mildred (Krans) Stang.  Darlene married Noel Fellermann Hasskamp on October 9, 1968 in Deerwood.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cedarbrook, Aitkin American Legion Auxiliary, and the Order of Easter Star.  She was a former LPN practicing at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby; Cedarbrook Manor in Deerwood; Woodland Good Samaritan in Brainerd and Aicota Nursing Home in Aitkin.  Darlene was an avid supporter of the Aitkin High School Athletics.

Darlene is survived by three sons, Karl (Angie) Hasskamp of Aitkin, Joseph (Stephanie) Hasskamp of Ashland, WI and Matthew (Emily) Hasskamp of Aitkin; two daughters, Dianne (Dan) Howard of Bellechester and Lorna Clodfelder of Deerwood; two brothers, Don (Sandra) Stang of Edina and Edward (Deb) Stang of Anoka; one sister, Marian (Lawrence) Severt of Brainerd; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Preceding Darlene in death are her parents and her husband, Noel.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cedarbrook. Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
