Darlene "Dolly" Mae Wallace

Darlene “Dolly” Mae Wallace age 78 of Deerwood died on September 2, 2017 at the Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin. She was born on April 5, 1939 in St. Paul to Lee and Virginia (Felix) Newcomb. She married Joel Wallace on July 12, 1958 in Mendota. Dolly was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in McGregor. She was a former committee member of the McGregor Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and was the Thursday cake lady at Wealthwood Gun Club.
Dolly is survived by her husband Joel; two sons, John Wallace and Joel Wallace both of St. Paul; one daughter, Pamela (Daniel) Davis of St. Paul; and one brother, Richard Newcomb of S. St. Paul.
Preceding Dolly in death are her parents; two brothers, Donald and Eugene Newcomb and three sisters, Virginia Wolfe, Elizabeth Hable And Rose Antiel.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Thursday.
