Darold Leroy Winn

Darold LeRoy “ Dick” Winn age 80 of Irondale Township died on January 6, 2017 at his home. He was born in Irondale Township on September 13, 1936 to Harold and Sylvia (Tatro) Winn. Dick married Marilyn Barker on July 21, 1956 in Crosby. He was a former employee of Scorpion with 15 years of service and a retired Crow Wing County Land Department employee with 10 years of service. Dick was known by many for his love of horses.
Dick is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Gerald Winn of Ironton and Ronald (Elisa) Winn of Brainerd; one daughter, Gloria (Joe) Stumvoll of Rochester; two sisters, Dolores Peterson of Crosby and Judith Alcox of Ironton; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Preceding Dick in death are his parents; and two sisters, Yvonne Collins and Avis Nelson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Lifespring Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Irondale Township. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
