David R. Baufield

David R. Baufield, age 83 of Crosby died on October 11, 2022 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  He was born in Fergus Falls to Arthur and Harriet Baufield.  David married Christine Edin, the love of his life and they had three children. He loved to go ice fishing and camping as often as possible.  He loved tinkering on vehicles, doing projects to keep busy. David loved his family more than anything and would help anyone who needed it.

David is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Christine; his daughters, Tammy (Svend) Schmidt, Tonja (Mike) Reed; daughter-in-law, Rachel Baufield; one sister, Betty Tilleskjor; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Preceding David in death are his parents; one son, Tim; brothers, Les and Roy Baufield.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

No services are being planned at this time.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
