Dennis F. Borgia

Dennis Francis Borgia age 73 of Outing died on November 2, 2012 at his home. He was born on November 16, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Susan (Roth) Borgia. Dennis was a former Steele County Sheriff's Posse and RALALA Board member. He initiated the water patrol for Roosevelt and Lawrence Lakes area. Taught water safety to children in the Outing area. Survivors include his wife Marie; 4 sons, David (Karen) Borgia of Strongville, Ohio, Frank Borgia, Dennis (Mary) Borgia of Owatonna, and Bruce (Tina) Radel; 3 daughters, Christine Borgia of Tampa, FL, Lee (Kevin) Hassing of Owatonna and Valerie (Jace) Nelson of Owatonna; 1 brother, Charles Borgia of Strongville, Ohio; 1 sister, Mary Borgia of Cleveland, OH; canine companion, Shelby and Feline companion, Sally; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents, 1st wife, Dorothy Borgia; 1 sister, Frances Scoville and a daughter, Theresa Borgia. A Celebration Of Life will be Friday, November 16th, 2012 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Crooked Lake Town Hall in Outing. A memorial service will be held June 8th, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in LeRoy, MN at 10 am. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, MN. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
